January 2008
Finally planning our New Year’s Eve. We’re ordering pizza, drinking champagne & watching romantic flick 1st then action flick to stay awake.
OK, decided to go with Die Hard 1 and Serendipity. I think even I would get bored with too much sugary sweet sappy romantic comedy saccharin
OK, I’m going with the first choice of Sleepless in Seattle & see if the other video store has it. We do have more than one in Alaska! LOL.
@evansmom -When Harry Met Sally & Four Weddings & a Funeral - thanks! @leahjones - Now thinking hubby won’t get Cusack 90s humor/appeal.
Thinking Die Hard 1 is kind of romantic & it has action & humor. Husband has never seen it.
@Genuine - Did I mention that my Montana husband doesn’t play or watch sports. Unless you count martial arts. Maybe I should get Die Hard 1.
@rumorgirls - Looking up Untamed Heart on http://www.imdb.com… Thanks for the tip!
OK, “Bounce” or “Say Anything?” Remember, he’s from Montana and these sappy chick flicks are not his usual fare - or mine for that matter.
@yndygo - I’m determined to watch 2 movies in a row AND have champagne at midnight & even have the fantasy baby will be asleep by 8pm!!
@genuine - Wondering if my Montana husband will understand a light romantic comedy where the heroine is a hooker….?
OK, video store doesn’t have Sleepless in Seattle. They have Serendipity but what other 80s or 90s ROMANTIC sweet movie could we get? Help!
Bought champagne for our in-home movie night. Renting “Serendipity” & maybe “Sleepless in Seattle.” Romantic flicks for when baby is asleep.

@shashib - thanks for the blog link - haven’t read Web-strategist.com but will check it out!
What is your MUST LISTEN TO Podcast? I think mine would have to be: http://www.managingthegray.com/ but Daphne & Tamara are a close 2nd.
What is your MOST favorite MUST-READ blog?
Making Cream of Rice for me and the baby. Food is a good source of entertainment. Cooking keeps me busy. Eating keeps us both busy.
@susanreynolds - Don’t know how you or all the other moms in the world did it. But I guess we just do & pay for kid’s therapy later.
@aruni - I must put the FUN in juggling. My first reaction: total freakout stress from hell. But a few deep breaths & it is all about Elmo.
No babysitter today. Lots of work to do. I will do the Mommy Dance & Juggling Act. Watch me balance baby & laptop as I twirl like a dervish.
OK, who else is on Dopplr? http://www.dopplr.com/traveller/alizasherman
Getting sleepy. But still uploading videos slowly. And I’m on my fast computer. Must be a slow connection in the igloo tonight.
Following @yndygo after seeing @susanreynolds doing it then discovering @yndygo is over 40 w/a preschooler. Gotta love her. A role model!
Uploading baby videos on YouTube for the grandparents. Some Xmas action vids of total cuteness.
@mikeg1 - Maybe I should be freezing the Mooseghetti & FedExing it to the curious, adventurous Twitterers out there!
@susanreynolds - Have you seen the Pea Gown? Created by a fabulous @pfanderson. She needs to make it so we can all wear it in SL!
Just finished a plateful of Moosesghetti. Yes, spaghetti with moose meat. Hey, we live in Alaska.

@pistachio - Where are you that you are seeing Caribou???
Just found a PostIt note that says: Xmas lights, Elmo, peaches. I have no idea what THAT is about.
I think it would be cool if Twitter kept the avatar you had for each post instead of switching to new one universally. Would be cool to see.
Thinking of buying a PC laptop to access virtual worlds - not just Second Life. What would YOU recommend? Cheap is good.
Trying to figure out how to post events to Second Life calendar. I own land but it says I own 0m. Do I have to upgrade my SL account?

Eating banana with baby. Waiting for hubby to return home from an all day hike in the snow. Maybe going out for dinner tonite. Mexican.
Hmmmm…baby is eating applesauce without a bib (bad mommy) and now sucking on her shirt to get what is falling off her spoon.
Wondering if it is weird to be eating chocolate and cashew brittle before going to the gym to work out.
@acarvin - So, any women in the NPR blog anniversary extravaganza? Inquiring minds want to know.
@aruni - Twittersisterfriend! Breast pumps and everything. Nice to meet you. I’ll let you know if I find out about the women bloggers on NPR
Did NPR interview any female bloggers for their 10th anniversary of the blog? Please send links!

@genuine - Thanks! Was worried this was about me: A Blogger’s Blog has no blogging. I’m always guilty of that.
